Building great neighbourhoods is a priority for me—great neighbourhoods for families, young people, seniors and everyone.
I will work with local groups, community organizations and businesses to add fun back into our Ward.
Here are some ideas:
Movie Night in the Park - other councillors do this with great success
Summer Street Festivals - those that are happening already will continue
Antique/Classic Car nights/shows - (personally, I love Jeeps and off-roading)
Front Yard Garden Contest
Charity BBQs for local charities
I'm very open to other ideas.
Nothing will be imposed on neighbourhoods, I will always work with local groups, residents, businesses and plaza owners.
The goal will be to build community spirit, involvement, and promote local businesses in each section of the Ward.
The Royal Canadian Legion in Highland Creek, located on Morrish Road, already has some great events scheduled.
The Toronto Zoo turns 51 years old on August 15th, 2025! Happy Birthday!
