Ontario approves Toronto's plan to allow 30-storey buildings near transit

Ontario will approve Toronto's plan to allow high-density housing around existing and future transit hubs.

As you see on the map above, this could affect Ward 25 Scarborough-Rouge Park at Morningside and Sheppard, and the Rouge GO Station.

The West Rouge Area would most likely not be in favour of this. Morningside and Sheppard would be less of an issue, especially if it gets Rapid Transit or Subway access. 

Lawrence and McCowan would also be affected.
